UNBELIEVABLE 1080 Plasma TV. The TV's picture is so clear and bright. The black is so deep and clear its amazing. Testing out 3D bluray, it is fantastic. Avatar is so colorful and clear it is better than the 3D movie in the theater by far. Under the Sea will reel you back too. Doing 3D games on PS3 blows you away again (Mortal Kombat & Stardust HD). We're not getting any cross talk & the freakin glasses really work great (It will take some time to get used to them (the 3D & glasses, and your eyes will get tired). You can see clearly from any seat in the room. In other words not a problem with angles ... I showed my friends a scene from under the sea where fish seemed like they were actually swimming in our living room. Everyone was more than merely impressed, and truly amazed. One point I must make is that so many people are expecting the 3D to pop out all over you or something ... 3D is simply all the time, but most 3D appears as though you're looking into a window. It has depth. This TV makes it so much like real life you just will not believe it until you see it for yourself. If you're still trying to decide which 3D TV, this baby is the one to beat! Don't settle for a passive 3D. You won't be dealing with the same quality. And, do make sure that you are getting the full 1080p 3D in each eye like you get with active shutter glasses. Really, this set blows!

For most people in the know Panasonic is
the last word in Plasma TV. No doubt the
company did a lot of the heavy lifting
in the early days. Arguably, the Panasonic
TC-P55VT30 HDTV (Black) continues the company's
traditional industry leading role. The objective
here is to gather more experience feedback.

Panasonic contrast technology has always been the greatest. The ratio has been at least 1,000,000:1 for its front line models since 2008! The 2011 TC-P55VT30 model's contrast ratio is 5,000,000:1. Contrast is simply the difference between the whitest white in a picture and the darkest black. This capability makes pictures pop with clarity and life like quality.
